To provide nimble handling comfort and wide-range gear options the Synapse NEO was engineered around our Ai offset drivetrain. By moving the drivetrain 6mm to the right Ai allows for very short chainstays without compromising tire clearance and makes it possible to run a double chainring crank. And as a bonus its creates a stiffer stronger rear wheel.
