3802 LLU MAX BOSL - Solid-Lube, Double -Row, MAX-Design, Black-Oxide, ABEC-3, radial suspension bearing - 15mm x 24mm x 7mm - Solid-Lube bearings feature a unique solid, lubricant-infused polymer that replaces the grease inside of the bearing, eliminating any space for water or dirt to gather inside of the bearing. Enduro Bearings pioneered MAX type bearings over 20 years ago for bicycles to address the challenges associated with mountain bike pivots. MAX-type bearings provide 35-40% more load capacity than standard radial bearings by utilizing a special design where the maximum number of balls are inserted into the bearing, via a custom ground slot in the races. The additional balls, combined with deep race grooves in these bearings providing greater lateral support for the twisting and multi-directional forces associated with mountain bike pivots. This MAX-type, Double-Row, Black-Oxide, ABEC-3 bearing features 52100 High-Carbon Chromium alloy races paired with two rows of grade 10 Balls. Enduro engineers all of our radial bearings with deeper grooves to accommodate the largest balls possible, providing maximum bearing contact area and greatly increased bearing life. Designed specifically for bicycle applications, the LLU full contact seals used in these bearings utilizes dual-lip labrynth design to forvide maximum protection from the elements. Black-Oxide/Magnetite coating provides an extra level of corrosion resistance and extended worry-free performance. The robust double row design of this bearing provides double the load bearing capacity in just a slightly (2mm) wider footprint than a similar sized single row bearing.
