- Over the past 2 decades the Elite Custom Race has become almost ubiquitous in the World Tour peloton, in recent years over 50% of riders in the Tour De France were using them, a level of domination almost unmatched by any manufacturer in modern times
- The Custom Race X utilises the latest refinements in Elite's moulding and stress-analysis technology to reduce the weight of the cage to just 28.5 grams, 35% lower than the previous model
- Lowered side supports allow for better side access and easier removal in high pressure situations, more support at the base ensures this has been achieved with no loss of retention
- High-strength polyamide construction with fibreglass reinforcement for improved durability and vibration damping
