Combining 19% better cornering traction and 25% less rolling resistance, with a new, even stronger nylon for the 120 TPI casing, which vastly increases tread durability, while the sidewalls will be safeguarded from cuts and abrasions by Maxxis' EXO Protection

• The Reaver is ideal for racers as it is faster, lighter, and even more durable than the venerable Rambler. In mixed conditions or deeper gravel, the Rambler is more versatile, but if off-road speed is priority number one, choose the Reaver

HYPR-X Compound

HYPR-X is the culmination of Maxxis' rubber compound development, combining the best elements of our HYPR road and MaxxSpeed mountain compounds. Compared to the outgoing dual-rubber compound, HYPR-X reduces rolling resistance by 25% and improves cornering traction by 19%

New 120 TPI Casing

A seemingly small but significant change is the use of a different source for the 120 TPI casing. The tougher new nylon greatly improves puncture protection in the tread area without negatively impacting ride feel or adding weight

EXO

An extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tyre remains unaffected. Choose EXO Protection for exceptionally rocky, treacherous trails where the chance of sidewall cuts and abrasions is high

Tubeless Ready

Tubeless tyres provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tyre; and less chance of flatting since there is no tube. Liquid sealants should only be used in the following types of tyres: Tubeless Road, Tubular, and Tubeless Ready.
