What is Datatag?
Datatag is a unique, multi-layered security marking system allowing you to protect not just your bike frame, but also your valuable components such as forks, wheels, derailleurs etc. It's easy to install and simple to register your ownership details online.
Why Fit Datatag? Should your bike be stolen and recovered by the Police, the Datatag identifiers can be used to return your bike to you. Datatag works with the Police to provide free database access on a 24/7 basis as well as technical training. Owners of Datatagged bikes and components can also benefit from reduced premiums from some major insurers. With Datatag you are getting lifetime protection for one low cost, with no ongoing monthly fees. It's also easy to transfer ownership should you wish to sell your bike.
What's in the box?
4 x Stealth UV Etch
The Datatag System contains 4 UV stealth etches to permanently mark your frame and forks without visibly marking your paintwork. The unique, almost invisible UV etching system forms a major part of the theft deterrent and subsequent identification. Permanently marking your cycle with these "stealth" UV etches won't visibly mark your cycle paintwork.
Datadots
Developed for ease of application these microscopic Datadots can be applied to any surface, making it virtually impossible for the criminals to locate and remove them all. The Datadots, held in a UV trace silicon glue, can be used to mark all your cycle components and accessories, and can be scanned.
2 x Ultimate TE Label with QR Code
These specially designed Datatag tamper evident labels contain a unique identification number and QR code. They warn off any potential thieves and are impossible to remove without damage.
1 x Circular Warning Label
These specially designed labels warn potential thieves that your bike and components are protected by Datatag.
