"Previous bike was a Bordman Tarmac that was a light alloy with carbon forks. It was brought as I wanted to get back into road bikes once again and I didn't want to spend a great deal. Don't get me wrong it was a great bike but I wanted something a bit more and I thought I'd push the boat out. I tried a few different bikes not all specialised but when I tried this out it worked for me. The reach and general geometry of the roubaix was a winner and it felt like it was made for me. The bike is exceptionally light and coupled with the ultegra group set it is truly a wonderful bike. Since I swapped to the roubaix my times have averaged 15/20 minutes faster on the same routes purley as the bike is so light to ride. The gear shifts are positive as you'd expect with the Ultegra set. Disc brakes are new to me but they are a great addition and are very positive compared to standard brakes. The standard seat is of the gel type which is really comfortable even on some good mileage. Overall I love this bike. It wasn't cheap but for me well worth it. It's taken my cycling to the next level and I'm seriously enjoying the bike. "

"Bike is excellence, very light to ride. If you need comfort bike for long bike tour this is very good one.Brakes are very good. My previous bike was cyclocross bike, this bike is faster and lighter. I am 186 cm long and I choose 58 frame size. It feels ok for me. "
