Pros: Well Built, Comfortable, High Quality, Versatile

"Just purchased - received in 48hrs from Cyclestore. Excellent work considering the circumstances (March 2020). Size L frame - I'm 6'2" and long legged - very comfy. Did need some assembly - issue with front disc brake cable routing - had to remove cable and reroute round the the front of the fork as the bar wouldn't fix on with it round the back. This also meant I had to reset the brake but wasn't too tricky. Now to the bike - my previous was a 15 year old Appollo XC26 so this was always going to be a massive improvement but wow...amazing. Fast rolling as almost a gravel style tread on the tyres - I actually overtook someone who was pedalling up a slope out of an underpass, I was just rolling and had caught them up! The gears are good although a little snappy and you have to be careful with the shifters to not push the gears through more than one at a time. The lowest gear is huge - it will happily tackle any incline where I live (some hills but nothing mad) and I look forward to properly testing it. The bike feels very agile and responsive. The handlebar is slightly narrower than general modern MTBs but coming from an old bike this is very comfortable. The short travel suspension is more than adequate for my needs as I don't get airborne! Perfect for the types of longer rides offroad that I am planning on doing in the future. Thanks Cyclestore and Giant cycles!"
