Pros: Adjustable, Well Built, Versatile
"Most years I give up cycling the 11+ miles to work as soon as the clocks go back; part of the route is pitch-black, tree-lined country lanes. But this year the Electron Terra 2 Evo kit made it a doddle to cycle each way. Where there are street lights I just use the 'wide' lamp on its own, but out in the country I train the 'narrow' lamp on the kerb/verge as well. I only really use the dimmed setting - the full beam provokes motorists coming towards you, but is ideal off-road so long as you can work out where the hell you are! The flashing setting is good for twilight too. The red recharge warning lamp illuminates very quickly if the battery pack is cold, but if you carry a backup you'll soon get used to how long you can leave it. Recharge is pretty quick - a few hours. Only difficulties I have are fingernail-breaking bands if you need to remove lights while bike is parked, and attaching/detaching wire between battery pack and lights for recharge - both are hard work for a reason - everything keeps working even after an hour bouncing over poor road surfaces in driving rain. "

"First night MTB race with the electron Terra 2 evo lights was a success . They gave me all the visibility I needed in the pitch Black Forest. I ran them on full power throughout. It is great to have twin lights, as you can aim one further ahead and one closer to front wheel for great vision. They are a doddle to fit , and remove easily with the rubber straps. And they feel great quality. At this price you can't go wrong!"
